Why do crystals need cleansing?

Everytime you put your crystal accessories on, they absorb or redirect negativity you’re working to release. They may also exposed to energies of others, that may be misaligned with yours. So, regular cleansing your stones is necessary to restore your crystal to its natural state.

How to cleanse crystals?

Clear quarts are said to have an overall clearing effect. Place the small cleansing stones into a glass bowl, and put your crystals on top of the stones for few hours. When you received crystals from the sellers, cleanse them for 3-5 hours before putting them on. You may cleanse the crystals anytime when you feel like doing so, or you may just leave them in the cleansing bowl. As for the cleansing stones, soak them with water for 20 minutes or place them under the sun for an hour, once a month.

Do I need to change cleansing stones regularly? Can I mix the new cleansing stones with the current stones I have?

No, cleansing stones don’t have to be replaced. Just cleanse them regularly to maintain its natural state. And yes, you can mix the stones in a container. It doesn’t matter.

Which hand to wear crystal bracelets? Left or right?

Left hand is the receiving hand that takes in energies from the external world; Right hand is the giving hand, releases negative energies from within. For crystal bracelets that help to absorb positive energies, wear it on your left hand; for crystal bracelets that work on releasing blockage and negativity, usually the black one, wear it on the right hand. As for multi-purpose crystals, such as Super Seven and tourmaline, you may wear it on either hand, depends on the intention you set for the crystals.

Can I wear crystals to sleep?

Only if the crystals are meant to help improve sleeping quality. Otherwise, avoid wearing or placing crystals too close to you while you are at sleep. These include high vibrational crystals, energy boosting crystals, third eye chakra crystals and crown chakra crystals.

Can I shower with my crystal accessories on?

It’s advisable to remove your crystal accessories before showering. Crystals are good with water, but the chemicals in shampoo or shower gel may harm the surface clarity of the crystals.

Can I wear crystal accessories to a funeral, hospital, or any other occasion that is said to have negative energies?

Yes, you can. Just remember to cleanse the crystals after returning from these places, because these crystals may have protected you from negativity by absorbing them.

Is it ok to wear different crystals at the same time?

Most crystals work well together. Some crystals work better with other crystals. Crystals with contradict properties such as moonstone and golden rutilated quartz may repel energies if they are worn together. Yet, wearing crystals with contradict properties brings no harm to us, you may still wear them like normal accessories, but less effective in terms of energy healing or boosting.

How many crystal bracelets can we wear at once?

Maximum 3 types of crystals on a single hand. Maximum 5 different crystals at once.
